Обучающая цель: обобщить лингвострановедческий материал по теме "London", отработать фонетические навыки.
Развивающая цель: совершенствовать навыки связной речи, развивать мышление, память, стимулировать самостоятельность учащихся, формировать познавательный интерес учащихся к предмету.
Воспитательная цель: прививать интерес к культуре, традициям, достопримечательностям Лондона, формировать уважительное отношение к иной культуре, традициям и обычаям другой культуры, воспитывать умение работать в коллективе, в группе, паре.
Учебно-наглядные пособия: карта Великобритании, Лондона, флаг Великобритании, открытки, ксерокопии с достопримечательностями Лондона, рисунки детей с достопримечательностями Лондона, стенд "Welcome to London", карточки с пословицами, карточки с детскими “паспортами”, карточки с диалогами, аудио кассета, диск с проектами (презентация достопримечательностей Лондона) ребят, мультимедийное оборудование, компьютеры.

Ход урока.

I. Организационный момент.
Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls !
Pupils:
Good morning, good morning !
Good morning to you !
Good morning, good morning !
We are glad to see you !
T: Thank you. I am glad to see you too.

II. Объявление целей урока.

T:	Let`s start our lesson.
	What was your hometask?
	Who can say?
Р:	Our hometask was to make a project "Welcome to London
Г:	Yes, thank you.
	How did you make your project ?
Р:	We made our project in groups.
Т:	Did you like to work together ?
Р:	Yes, I did.
Т:	Was it difficult or easy for you?
Р:	It was very interesting for me.
	It was very easy for me.
Оформление доски.
Purpose - цель
Plan - план
Activity - выполнение
Control - контроль
Result - оценка

T: I hope the results will be excellent.
You should be very attentive today and at the end of our lesson you will have a test "How well do you know London"?

III. Фонетическая зарядка.
T: But first we must train our tongues.
As you know, each country has its own proverbs.
Who knows what role the proverbs play in our language, in our life?
P1: Proverbs make language more beautiful, more alive.
P2: The proverb is wisdom which goes from generation to generation.
T: Good for you. On the table you can see the cards with the English proverbs. Please, find the other half of the English proverbs. You have 1 minute. After that I shall say Russian equivalent of these proverbs and you show me the cards with this proverb.

An Englishman`s houseis best
East or West homelike home
There is no placeis his castle

Учитель произносит пословицу по-русски, все дети показывают карточки с этой пословицей (учитель проверяет) и кто-то из детей читает,
Т: Now we can look at these proverbs on the board and let`s read these sentences together. Listen and repeat after me. (читаем хором) Ok! That`s right.
T: As you remember, today we have an unusual lesson- an excursion around London. But before we start our journey you should fill in the passport. We see the passport. Who can translate these words in your passport ? (дети переводят)
Каждый учащийся получает бланк для заполнения детского “паспорта”
T: Your passports are ready. Let`s the stuard take your passports.
OK! Please look at the picture. Now we are flying from Chelyabinsk to London, (на экране летит самолет из России (Челябинска) в Лондон (приложение 1). We prepared for this exertion last lessons and we made the route around London. Let`s look at the map of London and we can see our route (на магнитной доске висит карта Лондона с отмеченным на ней маршрутом) Now we are in London.

IV. Защита проектов.

(На экране появляются картинки с изображениями Лондона) (приложение 1)
P1: Dear guests! You are welcome to London. As you know. London stands on the river Thames. London, the capital of G.B., is a very old city. It is two thousand years old. Many years ago London was a small town on the Thames. Now London is a big port and a beautiful city with large squares and parks. About 7 million live here. (учитель оценивает ученика) На экране появляется картинка с Tower Bridge.
Р2: And now we start our tour from Tower Bridge. T.B. is the only Thames bridge which can be raised. The road over the bridge is built on two central sections, they open two or three times a week. Let s sing the song Tower Bridge is falling down, (дети поют песню, учитель оценивает ученика). На экране- the Tower of London.
P3: On the right bank of the Thames you can see the Tower of London. The
Tower of London is a very old building. It is nine hundred years old. In the early days of the history of England the English kings lived here. Then it was a prison where many people died. Black ravens had much food near the walls of the tower in those years. The English people like them very much. A man looks after the ravens and gives them food in the morning and in the evening. The Tower of London is a museum now. На экране - Snt. Pauls Cathedral.
P4: Now you can see Snt. Pauls Cathedral. One of the greatest English churches, Snt. Pauls Cathedral, is not far from the Tower of London. The famous English architect Sir Christofer Wren built it after the Great Fire. It is a beautiful building with many columns and towers. На экране - Trafalgar Square.
P5: The center of London is Trafalgar Square. It is the most beautiful place in London. In the middle of the square stands a tall column. It is a monument to Admiral Nelson. Four bronze lions look at the square from the monument.<...
