Задачи: - Развитие умений и навыков монологической речи.
- Тренировать учащихся в чтении.
Пособия: карты Америки и Великобритании; мяч; бутылка с запиской; коробочка с сюрпризом; планшеты с песней “Over the river”; лексические опоры; тематическая картина; игра “Thanksgiving Day” с лексической опорой.
Ход урока
I. Организационный момент.
Good day! How are you?
Fine, thank you. Sit down!
Your ticket, please. | Сl: Fine. And you?P1,P2,P3: Here you are. | You are welcome!(Указываю на карты США и Великобритании, и на карабль "Mayflower", что сделан из бумаги и прекреплен к карте)
We are sailing to Amerca to one of the best
holidays of the USA Thanksgiving Day.
Rise the flag of America!
(Прошу одного из учеников подойти к доске поднять флаг). | | II. Систематизация пройденного материала.
What famous holidays of the USA do you know?
| P1: New Year`s Day is the first day in the calendar. People stay until midnight to watch TV, to congratulate each other Some people
go to the New Year`s tree, sing songs, kiss, hug, blow whistles and horns, shout "Happy New Year".P2: I`d like to tell you about St. Valentine Day. People send greeting cards to each other and write "Be My Valentine" Pupils decorate clssrooms
with red hearts.
P3: They celebrate St. Patrick`s Day because there are many Irish immigrants in America.
P4: They celebrate Independence Day on the 4th of July since 1776.
P5:
They celebrate Halloween on the 30th of October.
The colors of Halloween are orange and black.
People carve pumpkins to look like faces.
